UNION STATION Next Stop: 2009 Tickets are now on sale for the season’s hottest celebration, hosted by Union Station Kansas City. “Next Stop: 2009″ starts at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, 2008, and ends in the New Year! This party is a far cry from the “family-friendly” affairs of New Year’s past. “Next Stop” is the City’s most chic party with a purpose: a Union Station Fundraiser, created exclusively for guests 21 and older. For this swank special event, Union Station will take on an upscale club atmosphere, with live music all night. Warming up the night will be Kansas City's hottest Dueling Pianos! Then Superfly, Kansas City's newest Funk / Party band will keep you dancing until you drop! “Next Stop” has two admission levels, with early bird pricing specials in effect from Oct. 15 to Dec. 17. Early Bird General Admission, $75 per person, features party favors, three drink coupons and delicious appetizers. Early Bird Helzberg Diamonds VIP admission is $110 per person and offers the luxury of early check-in, premium party favors, three drink coupons, deluxe appetizers, no waiting at the VIP bar, reserved Helzberg Diamonds VIP Room with limited seating, a Helzberg Diamonds gift bag and more. Exclusive door prizes provided by Helzberg Diamonds and Southwest Airlines will be awarded throughout the night, and after dancing the night away to fabulous live music, everyone will welcome the New Year in style with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. This stylish party is expected to sell out, so tickets should be purchased in advance. Tickets purchased Dec. 18 - Dec. 31 are $100 for general admission and $135 for Helzberg Diamonds VIP admission. |
